[Suggestion] Problem with the esthetic of Endless space 1 and 2 (Developers, please read this)

I have a proposal. Sorry for my crappy english; Ill be quick.
Nothing talks about this, but the endless space 1 and 2 have a big problem with his esthetic. Dont misread me, i love the esthetic of the factions; his ships and arquitecture (specially the horatio faction). But this esthetic looks very poorly and scarce in the game.
¿How often we see the esthetic of the factions while playing? only when combat (because we look the ships) and a bit more.

In conclusion. When i play, dont feel my faction. I cant feel be a leader inside of the culture of my team. I only see a aseptic interface and a bit more. I would like see more the arquitecture, the people, the culture and the power of my faction in the game. See more the fruits of my effort playing, not only a lines, numbers and planets. Endless space 2 did a effort, and show more pictures and models, but is not sufficient.


Thanks for read and sorry again for my english. I love Endless space, but is difficult for me enjoy the game with this problem.

It's quite true. the issue is most events are displayed with non faction specific illustrations too, and when considering systems, we only watch the planets as a whole and systems upgrades are non descript, and in any case they are maybe too small, or encompass a planet wide infrastructure without meaningful visual elements. (like an array of labs, for instance)


I don't know how the graphical team at amplitude is currently employed, are they doing more illustrations/ships ? Probably since, 4 major factions are yet to be revealed and added to the game.

Another idea might be to make a custom UI skin for each faction, though that may be a bit too much work to do till the release date.

That is a nice idea. I hope that quality be more important than quick game launch.
