Quests - Should be able to pin any and all

One of the small irritants with Endless Legend was that I tended for forget which quests I had going and what their requirements were, because I could only pin one quest at a time so it showed up in the main screen. The reminder is concise and useful (like so), but we should really be able to pin as many as we want, or simply have an option that says 'pin all'. I have a large screen, and I really would like to use some of the screen real estate for useful reminders like that.

Agree, and for people without overly large screens, there could still be made the option of revealing all pinned quests upon mouseover. To me a mouseover would be far more present than having to hit F7 and bring up a seperate screen.

Alternatives would also be a scrolling system that goes through all active quests, or simple arrows on the top of the pinned quest that flips through all the quests you have going. That way it wouldn't matter if someone had an itty bitty screen or a huge one, it'd be visible on both.

Hello people

After reading this thread, I went and spoke to the members of the team in charge of the quests.

Being able to pin only one quest at a time is a design decision that has been made to preserve screen space usability and readability since pinning multiple quests would result in overlapping with notifications, hiding other information or covering interactive areas (think of the tech tree for example, where pinned quests are already cumbersome)

Of course, this is not much of a problem for users with very large screens, but on a regular 15" laptop screen it may clutter the screen space.

However the suggested solution of being able to navigate between all active quests thanks to arrows on the pinned quest space makes sense to me so I'll try to have a word with the rest of the team to gather their opinions on the matter

Thank you for the feedback!

Happy to read this.

Got same problem of forgetting quests in EL. So any improvement to this part of UI will be welcome.
