Hi all!

Endless space 2 is currently in development and i enjoyed Endless Space 1 really a lot. But there where some things missing in Endless Space 1 from my point of view. To give Endless Space just a little bit extra, i have some ideas. And it doenst effect the gameplay/balancing of the game. So here is my suggestion:

- Adding ingame achievement system; 

i know there are steam achievements but there is nothing ingame regarding to a nice achievement overview or tracking system. 

- Ingame unlocks by playing the game;

When we did start playing Endless space 1 we did start with the full game. there was nothing to work for. So my suggestion is to add things you can unlock in the game. for example: Winning a game with the vaulters gives you a extra portrait to use in faction creation. This is a small thing to put ingame but it really wants you to explore the full game and play in every possible way. Im giving a list now of more examples.

• Winning a game with a faction gives you a extra portrait to use in faction creation for that same faction.
• Unlocks of more ship skins.
• Unlocks of more Gouverment icons
• Unlocks of more heroes(skins)
• Unlocks of more colors to use when playing
• Unlocks of different colors of lasers/missiles in space combat.

there will be a lot more things you could possible unlock in Endless space 2, but the developers will know that better then i do.  And with those unlocks there is more possible with customization and more rewards for playing on the long term. It just gives that little extra in the game. 

Im wondering what other players think about this aswell....

I personally don't like unlocks. To me they turn game into work and race to unlock things that you want. It forces you to make things and play specific way if you want unlocks. I personally consider it waste of time. To start session and spend hours to do objectives that are boring to accomplish for me is more of torture to get pleasure than fun.
