In the current version of the game 0.1.23 I noticed that, if you complete a minor faction quest, you take them over istantly. In the idea: https://www.games2gether.com/endless-space-2/ideas/165-fix-the-vodyani the problem is described for the vodyani. I still mention this here, because I played the Sophons and had the quest to raise a minor factions approval up to 90. The quest however goes on, if you instantly takeover a minor faction, which I think is a bit odd.

I am not sure if I missed someone mentioning this already, if that s the case feel free to close this thread.

I suspect it's likely intentional, as the system seems to have been lifted wholesale from Endless Legend, which did the same thing.

You are probably right, but in my opinion it would be great if such a quest would raise your approval to a certain scale and it is basically your choice if you want to integrate a minor faction, or keep it as a minor ally.

Oh, but I agree. Just saying the current implementation seems to be a drag 'n' drop. Might be worked on more leading up to release.

Yeah I think that s why it s worth mentioning small things like this, so there not forgotten in the whole great game. :)
