are there plans that before or on the day of the game release on the map we see actual models and textures  of ships and other things  instead of  transparent models. they look very good and i 'd be shocked if they were not there on the actual map, would kinda ruin immersion too

Endless Space didn't have them. And to be blunt, it does help reduce visual clutter on huge, eight player maps. I would presume it probably eases the GPU's burden as well.

I actually like the way they are now. Minor adjustment would be that the current transparent model be changed to show the bigger ship
