Hi,

First game with cravers. No being they one of my favourites, I never tried before release. Now have two questions, and haven't seen any clue around forums, still recognize had not time enough to visit all Cravers posts.

In this creenshots:

Some cravers pop are in yellow. Can you tell me why? Tx!

Two more screenshots:

With any other faction, this system with 0% Approval should be in rebellion, but it isn't. Is this Cravers specific ability (looking at their traits don't seems so)? Or is this an Autocracy government chracteristic?

Also considered changes in rebellion with last patch, but didn't found something refering to this.

Hi lo_fabre,

The cravers turn yellow when the "Slave Drivers" affinity is activated. :) (Approval malus in exchange for a better population output)

And not having rebellions with 0% is indeed an Autocracy government characteristic!

Cheers,

I've been playing with the Cravers more lately as well. In terms of intended gameplay, what am I supposed to do with the unhappy colonies? Am I meant to simply let them starve and keep driving forward? I kind of wish they had a researchable ability that allowed me to abandon a system, but instead of giving me a colony ship (which I don't need after a certain point in the game) and gave me a one time Dust/Science/Influence bonus (Or maybe a Empire Wide Happiness bonus for a certain amount of turns) on consumption based off the population/buildings on the system. I seems like something the Cravers would do, just consume what's left (the people and buildings) of a depleted system and leave a husk of a system in it's path.

You should probably just leave them unhappy since an Autocracy can't rebel, however, there are buildings you can create to attempt to alleviate the population's unhappiness, but other than there's not much you can do.

You can also try getting the religious party in the government, as the Saints and Sinners bill (50% forced Content public order stops this whole issue)

You could either abandon the colony as you mentioned, or transport the cravers on said colony to another system and then abandon, so you won't lose the population.

Are your Cravers starving from a lack of food production (b/c of the overexploitation mechanic) ? And if so did you build all the possible buildings ?

Also, your idea that Cravers should have an empire-wide happiness bonus/system improvement is a good one, you may want to look at putting it in the ideas forums ^~^

I don't play the Cravers too much so I can't give you an in-depth answer but hope this helped

I just realized I completely misunderstood how the happiness malus worked for slave driver, and my "strategy" for depleted planets was actually counter prodcutive.
I would still like the abiltiy to consume Depleted sytems though (similar to Feeding pits, not the one that gives Manpower) as I think it would be interesting to balance the short term gains of the ability versus the long term benefits of the 50 Craver Population Law for depleted planets.

Go here and look at WeLoveYou's comment; they're a really good player and I recommend messaging them if you need anymore help/information on the Cravers and/or game strategies
