I'm playing as Vaulters and i got myself Tiryak Drive it have 20% evasion. Can someone explain to me how does it work? My main concern is does it stack? If so what can i get for reaching 100% evasion will my ship be impossible to hit? If it doesnt stack with same module so i can't reach 100% just by putting 5 drives, then how does it stack? Can i have antimatter shield this drive and evasive tactic? Does it help vs bombers?
Like really why evasive is not explained anywhere?
My second concern is how i can change bound of minior civilisation? I really want Pulsars to join my empire but they are bound to voydani i reach full approval with them but can't click assimilate cos of voydani, also i can't declare war on them becouse when i try ground invasion game just stops. I'm also not sure if i will get minor faction bonuses if i will conquer them instead of assimilate them.
Yes it does stack fully, the max limit is 95%. Stacking 5 of these basically makes you invincible in combat, yeah. I've informed one of the devs yesterday so it should get nerfed soon:tm:.

Ideally it should be multiplicatative, not additive - so 7 engines should give you ) 0.8^7 = 0.209... that is ~79% evasion rate. It still seems crazily strong, as three engines isn't beyond reason and should geve you a huge defenceive buff with either method oc calculation. 10% or 15% evasion may be more balanced (resulting in a 28% or 39% evasion rate with three engines)
I think engines - already valuable in themselves - probably shouldn't have evasion thrown on. Jamming modules - which are otherwise underwhelming and confusing - would be a better place for them.
The developers do not like unique equipped modules, so they probably would need to have the effect reduced in power. But I'm not even sure why this exists as a stat anyway; it functions as raw damage reduction which is fairly uninteresting as a thing.
So is it solved in any way? I stopped playing after witnessing it since it's game breaking. If you want evasion just make it like in League of Legends UNIQUE ability so that speed would stack up but UNIQUE abilities (like evasion here for example and not evasion in antimattershield) will not.
