I'm bummed that they nerfed the Hyperium Engine again. It's now only 2% Evasion instead of 5%. Before that it was 10%, and originally 20% at game release. I thought 10% was good and 5% was low. Now at 2% it's just ignorable. 

They also nerfed the plasma beams again and feel like they nerfed them too much.

Yeah, I also still like Hyperium Engines and don't see myself using them any less than before. Like Dragar said you still want to mount them for the galaxy map speed buff alone. The heavy nerf to engines and buff to other support modules was warranted because the map speed + very high evasion bonus was ridiculously good for such an early game module that made others obselete.

I understand that the map speed is valuable alone. My point was that the evasion is so low now that it's ignorable. They might as well just remove it entirely. I wish they had just left it alone.

I would have been in favour of it being removed entirely!

The evasion stacks additively, allowing you to reach much higher levels than intended - that's why it got reduced.

The nerf was well deserved. At five percent you could build a shio that was gauranteed to dodge 20 percent all the time. Engines are not defense modules.

Then I would have removed it entirely. 2% is just dumb IMO. That is all.
