I am probably not the first to suggest this, so i'm sure someone will update me on this matter. But what is the opinion on bringing Endless Legend Factions over to Endless Space 2? As we know, whatever faction is played, at the end of their story, they board a crashed ship and leave Auriga. While I believe that the canon is that the Vaulters are the ones that escape Aurigas demise, surely it would be good to have all the factions included?

It would offer a continuation of story for the people that we led, and a new chapter could be to restore Auriga and make it thier new Capital for thier Empire. I've always been a fan of the Drakken(I've never played anyone else really, a love for Dragons and all...) and it would be nice to have them included in Endless Space 2, even as a minor faction, though I would it would be much better and preferable to acually have them as a Major Faction. What is everyone elses thoughts on this?

I kinda like the idea of races dying off and such, makes it feel more realistic and interesting. it would be cool and all but i think it would oversaturate the game a bit when we could have whole new stuff. besides wraiths are being put in from what it looks like atm.

Having all the factions included is simply not possible from a resource allocation point of view – we are talking about 10+ new factions, each with several ship models, 4 heroes each, quests, etc.

While I love all the Endless Legend factions, very few of them fit into ES2 except from the Vaulters and maybe the Morgawr (as their while quest was about evolving to go to space).  The others don't really fit.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few survivors becoming a minor, but is it also not possible to do it for all of them (+10 minor factions, with 10 new heroes).
