Hello everyone.
I have recently played few multiplayer games with friends and experienced a very frustrating thing.
Vaulters portals make it impossible to siege them. Also everyone in alliance with them can use those portals. Without taxi system it is abysmal to play and vaulters double it.
If any Amplitude Studios sees that post, please can you make small patch that adds cooldown on portals, so at least if i flank with 2 fleets he does not move it there in next turn and restrict it for alliance.

Don't forget that every pirate lair is a portal too! YOLOOOO!

Not sure if they should be changed at all. They're kind of important to the faction's unique identity and gameplay. If anything, other factions should have movement buffed in some way.

What if they have a maximum limit per turn and can be in turn upgraded to take more traffic?

So a level 1 portal can send a set number of CP, level 2 can send +8 of that and so on.

And the portal receiving fleets can take in more traffic so you can send in more fleets and not send them in one by one in to a deathtrap

Contending with portals is part of dealing with the Vaulters. Each faction in the game has their own advantages and disadvantages and portals are part of the Vaulters' advantage. 

You may wish to try adjusting your tactics. If flanking isn't going to work on the Vaulters because of portals then simply kick in the front door with a stronger combined fleet so their portals don't come into play. Perhaps make use of cloaking to bypass their outer systems so you can siege inner systems that may not have portals. Perhaps using hacking to lock down their fleets so they can't move anyway, thus eliminating the advantage of portals.
