Hi guys,


i would like to ask any person in AMPLITUDE studios or better- game developers - did they thought about creating new planets( as 5 tier tech tree techlonlogy)? I often play this game(650h+) to the late game and terraform all of them. Then i would like to construct new ones - especially on systems that have only 1 planet. It would be great to build artificial planets or just space habitats. 


Just think of it: 

1. Yours artists dont have to do any work( u have already all in the game)

2. Programist must only add expansion (empty generic templates) to every system so that player could develop up to 5 planets in every existing system. 

 

Building aftificial habitats or even planets should be EASIER that terraforming as many people would point out. This is just one guy  : Issac Arthur , but most of people familiar with the subject share his point of view - terraforming planets shoul be more difficult(or time consuming  - once u have automation sophisticated enough to do all work instead of biological entities)  than building one from a scratch (althouh for gameplay balance you could program this as a more expensive - we dont want cravers to destroy planet once it is depleted and build a new one ;P ).


Hell, you can go even wild and create multilayer planets (with black hole inside) with 20 or more ppl slots on each layer. This is late game - it wont affect multiplayer (games in multi end on 50 turn or so ;p) and singleplayers like me would be very happy :D


That would make improve late game greatly and make some people who dont usually but expansions(like me) to finally find an excuse(or reason) to buy them. And i think i speak not just for myself. As a single player guy i really would like to see this feature implemented. 


However if cost of such feature is too expensive(or your programists dont have time) could you expose data for moddding purposes so we(modders) could do it on our own?
