I've been playing for a week, but there are many things to micro manage, so I thought I take a stab at streamling some aspects without dumbing down the game.
I'll try to keep it simple.
This suggestion is to give players a who have a bunch of nearly obsolete ships in their fleet, and need to update their ships due to a several front war looming on the horizon that do not have the 60k Dust on hand to refit all ships to current designs. I'll be referring to units of industry as labor in this post.
How it would work:
- Park fleet or ships in Hanger/Drydock
- On the Ship design screen each design revision has a labor cost associated with them. Using that cost it would work out for example [design(new)-design(old)]/system labor = number of turns to refit (rounded up/excess does not roll over for individual ships)
