Is there a way to uprgade your Hero's ships?  I can look at my Hero and check out his ship, move things around on it; but it won't let me apply any changes I make.  Can it only be upgraded with lots of Dust?  Is there any way to upgrade it without spending a lot of Dust?

Ok thanks figured it out.  I was thinking you could upgrade it over time since components said they had an industry cost.  But nope, can only upgrade using dust and I didn't have enough.  Thanks again for the help.
