Leveling Up Fleet Commanders

I find that heroes assigned to fleets level-up much slower than those assigned to a system.

I always choose the exp by turn first if I want to use a hero as a fleet commander, however, this hero still struggles to keep up with the leveling of the academy.

Heroes at systems seem to have much more exp from improvements being built.

Seems like a hero gets to 20 by building the victory wonder, I haven't encountered similar amounts of exp for fleet commanders.

It's a known "issue" and is going to be fixed at release. "My way" offered to improve: to level up faster in the beginning, redesign hero ship on turn 1 (add scanner/nodes). Because of lack of money, I take away other modules (no dust for...). I create fleet with hero and use it as explorer - uncovering the curiosities. You gain XP that way. After hitting level 2 hero returns to be governor. Devs still did raise gained XP for space combats, so I guess it will be more balanced, now (in release version).

Cheers

Thanks for telling. I loved how in ES1 my fleet commander could help my smaller fleet win against high CP opponents again and again.

Where is this list of know issues though, can't find one before reporting bugs and such.

List of known issues would be an improvement. Guess devs are too much busy these days, to implement before release. Would be useful to add this list after release. After experiencing the release version, it makes more sense to relate to issues. Sure the devs will "iron out" many known issues, so after release would be a good time to ask for "new list". Hopefully we remember just in time to do so *looking closer at lanethas*
