- New game as stock Vodyani

- Get 250 essence

- Build a new pop on an ark system with 2 pop, showing one clear third open slot

- Build finishes on next turn, build queue is empty, essence is gone, but ark system still only has 2 pop

- Do this again with 500 essence - build a pop, ark system has 2 pop, third slot clearly shows as empty

- Pop goes into black hole again, system still has 2, essence gone, turn gone, no effect

What am I doing wrong here? I know you need sys dev to get more than three slots. This is not that. This is when I'm only using 2 slots.

This happened to me as well. No idea, thought I messed up. It was pretty random tho.

I had to abandon that playthrough, i cannot create Vodyani pop. Three attempts resulted in a waste of time and resources and now I have a zillion pirates up my suit vents, that game's done.

Vodyani have major issues but I was hoping to give them a go anyway, interesting mechanics - but now I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or if it's a legit bug.
