Can losing trade HQs be irreversibly lost (e.g. due to invasion)?

Hi there, 



About ~150 or so turns ago, I had four trade companies. Of these, I lost two when the systems their HQs were based in were converted by an AI. Since then the trade screen shows the 'Another trade company requests an HQ, build it somewhere' message. However, I haven't yet show the trade company HQ in any system's bulid list. Is this intended behaviour?


Second, and that's maybe related, I have more trading subsidiaries than HQs. Could it be that the HQ won't show up because the game sees the subsidiaries as indication that the HQ exists somewhere? And if so, could removing a subsidiary fix it?

I've also encountered this, I'm not really sure how I fixed it to be honest. It's always a bit weird once it starts, but I think you may be right. 


This could be a bug.

HQ aren't destroyed immidiately after system capture, but they will be in ~20 turns, if you not recapture said systems.

It's indeed what Sublustris said, but the HQ/Subsidiary is destroyed after only 5 turns. But it seems the feedback could be clearer in the Eco screen in that case.


Would you happen to have your save at hand by any chance so we can investigate?
