I've been playing a game with a few friends of mine with the intended goal of a creating an alliance between us.

We all have the necessary technology but are getting an alert that we have reached a maximum capacity of (2).

We have played other games with a much larger maximum. The problem is, nowhere is this maximum either clearly communicated or explained. this is a smaller match with only 5 races total and if that is in fact the reason I feel that should be explained on the game options or at least within the treaty tech. If that is not it and i'm missing something obvious please let me know.

I beleive its 1/2 of the number of races in the game, so 5 races = 2 per alliance. Thats what I have been told.
