Is "Stellar Prisoner" working properly?

Hello everyone.
Recently noticed that i found neutron star numerous times in different games, yet quest for Endless Virtual never appeared.
When reading description of the update it says you have to discover star and it will start the quest, i never had that :P
Is there a suggestion on what should i do? Do i have to have it in my domain zone?

Well this is the tricky one. Quest won't trigger before turn 60. It triggers if any faction discovers it's first neutron star node after turn 60. So there is a chance if every faction discovered it's first neutron star node before turn 60 it won't trigger at all. Tho i might be wrong about the first one part, maybe it would suffice to just discover a new one for any faction after turn 60 (but for me iirc it didn't work so i think it has to be the first one).

Wait, why it trigger if any faction discover a neutron star after turn 60, instead of triggering in turn 60 when a neutron star has been discovered???

@Neron: why would you? It works properly. It's just conditions of the quest trigger. U might bring it to game design section for discussion if u think that's necessary.


@Velorace: That i don't know. Prolly just because if discovery happens before 1st condition is met (minimum turn 60) it doesn't count and game doesn't check if it already happened.



Here's what you can do:


In \Endless Space 2\Public\Quests\QuestDefinitions[GlobalCompet].xml Line 391 or look for "GLOBAL QUEST 05" title, change QuestDefinition MinimumTurn="60" to whatever you want (for example to "1").

That is extremely useful information. But i do not desire to mess with game files :P
On a topic of conditions. They are weird finding it at turn one and then wait 60 turns for it not to occur?
Something should be changed in that quest.

60 turn condition is there prolly because of Industry cost(too hard to build early game) and bonuses(quite hefty for early game) of System Improvement you get to build to complete the quest.

Just to clarify for myself.
What if several factions found Neuron star. Who gets the quest?
I never played it as it never started for me and played more than 60 turns tooons of times.

It's global competetive quest so if any faction will trigger it(after turn 60 find it's first neutron star node) it will start for everyone.
