Unfallen: What are Titanium Colonizers?

First: Hi, I'm new on this forum. So, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Please tell me.


Yesterday I noticed something strange while playing Unfallen. For some reasons they unlock the module "Titanium Colonizers" as soon as they reach the Science and Exploration stage 4.

It's a module that can only be equiped on colonization-ships. I'm not normally playing Unfallen, but as far as I know the Unfallen cannot have any of those. Or am I missing something?


So what are the "Titanium Colonizers" and what would they do?

Titanium colonizers is a module that most factions can unlock (think Lumeris can't and not sure about Vaulters). You can equip this module into a civililian ship (the colonizer)

Basically it's like the colony module you have to equio to colonize a system, but it also gives you a probe.

It's a bit better than a colonizer, cause you can explore curiosities in nodes that you have to travel through or the one you want to colonize. Is by far worse than an scout, but a good to have.

I still don't understand, why the Unfallen would get that module, as they do not have any colonizers, but maybe that is just an oversight of  a shared tech-tree.

Checked for you, and Titanium colonizers module is a free stage unlock in sci quadrant. AFAIK free unlocks are not like faction specific techs, and are the same for almost everyone (admit some time without playing Vodiany and other very unique, so can be wrong). Probablt this is what lead to this awkwar situation.

Darn, I was hoping it would be a module that lessens the time needed to entwine a system. Yea it would be overpowered I guess but still nice.
