The mouseover shows that you can request forced alliance departure and declare war on a third party but I don't get the options. When can I request those?

I don't really see what you're talking about. Could you tell us where you can see this information? What you have to mouseover?

Oh, I see!

This text should have been modified long ago, as there is no such thing in the game.

Thanks for reporting this, the tooltip should be changed to something similar to "This additional term may involve Heroes or Technologies" in an upcoming update.

On one hand, I'm glad that I caught a bug for you. But in fact, I was REALLY hoping that I could do what the tooltip suggested... Asking/bribing oponents to start war with a third party is huge [from my exp with MOO]. Being able to ask them to stop a war, or to leave yours or third party alliance would be huge too. Disappointing :) One can hope though :)
