Hey all,

So I am Vodyani and have had an alliance with both the Khadem AI Sophons and Doria AI Lumeris for a good 50 or so turns now, maybe more.  Both are Loyal and have positive pressure in my favor.

The Lumeris will give me all their technology and then some for a co-operative protocol.  However, the Sophons won't budge even after trying to giving them 20k dust, 300+ of each strategic resource, and multiple tier 4 technologies.

What gives?

Has anyone else had this issue?  I read a few things back from 2017 but found nothing recent.

Edit: fixed some misunderstandings

Cooperative protocol costs 150 Influence per turn. Sophons prolly just don't have that much atm and thus won't budge. Also Doria is Lumeris AI IIRC not Vodyani.

But if I give them every single thing available to give them, they will agree to it, so they must have the influence right?

I'll try waiting for the next turn to see if they have more influence then.

Also, what do you mean Doria is Lumeris AI not Vodyani?  I don't follow.

In the title you wrote Vodyani. Doria is a Lumeris AI.

To answer your question, usually for me is the other way round, the AI is offering the co-op protocol before I could even get there.

Maybe they're really low on influence in your game, they could afford it but at the cost of giving up their laws. Even if they accept it when you offer, it's very possible they'll just cancel it the next turn. Happened to me.

For clearification: I am Vodyani, the other two are Sophons and Lumeris.  Lumeris will give me everything they have for protocol, Sophons won't.

Strange.  I've tried waiting a few turns but nothing is changing.  I'm not sure how they could have such low influence though, they are second place and have many systems that look maxed out already.  Their laws can't be eating up that much influence could they?

It's not flat 150 influence, it's 150 influence per turn and it is very possible for AI(esp Sophons) not having that much cuz he prolly using costly political laws and waiting couple turns won't solve his low(below 150) influence income.

Where are you finding this 150 per turn info?

I really thought I'd tried that!  Thanks for double checking!

Edit: Oh, I see, you can't get that popup from hovering over the My Terms sectoins or even over the Contract Terms, only that little triangle.

So I checked in E.N.F.E.R. and they have over 1000 Influence and make over 300 per turn.
