Hi guys!

I can't figure this one out nor can I "Google" for a working solution.

I choose the quest path that requires me to brainwash a minor civ, but all of them are either assimilated by others or "pledged" to somebody else.

If I attack them, I can pillage or hunt them, but that doesn't seem to do the trick?

If I understand, the only thing I can do now is to wipe out the civ that the minor civ pledged loyalty to, and them hope to assimilate them first? Is there any other way?

I'm stuck at this, 150+ turns on serious difficulty and don't wanna restart because of this..

Sorry, but there's no way to complete a quest without brainwashing. If all Minors were assimilated, you either have to go on without doing a quest, or you  have to restart.

Well, technically, you can also enable cheats (called modding tools) and proceed the quest via command, if you are into that. This will also disable achievements for that game.

I was afraid somebody may say that.

There is a single minor faction that's not yet assimilated, but it stated that they are sworn to rival vodyani. My last hope is to wipe those other vodyani and manage to assimilate these guys before the last other rival does that.

I think vodyani will either way be my 1st choice for the "endless" difficulty. I think they are quite OP...

Just to finish this thread - I managed to get through the quest.

I anihilated the AI Vodyani, the minor-civ lost their "affinity/loyalty" to the AI and I immedietely snapped them with my own "brainwash".
