UC. Hero`s Overseer perk Efficiency Aficionado

 Overseer perk Efficiency Aficionado. Why it gives only 10 industry on two hot planets, when it says +10 and +10 per hot.

The code lists this as giving +5 on the system first level, +5 per hot, and +10 on the system second level, +10 per hot. It appears the tooltip is bugged.

5 on the system + 5 per hot * 2 hot planets = 15 not 10. Right?

Then it is not only the tooltip, but the perk itself bugged too.

Seems like it doesn't work for sanctuary systems, only for sanctury planets. That would make sense because UC can only have 1 actual system.

Oh, You should know, that logic is not accustomed term for this universe... 

So, here is contradictory example to the concept of "1 actual system":

Hero`s perk:

CounselorPerson of MeansSystemLevel 1(2):  +5 (+10) Dust per Sterile on System and +5 (+10) Dust on System

For umbral shadows it works ONLY on system! So in the home and sanctuary systems with 0-1-2-3-4-5 sterile planets it always gives only 5(10) dust. 


Next example.  

Workspace oddity (assimilation trait). Tooltip says "+25 per anomaly on systems". And actually it gives to any sanctuary system 25 industry PER PLANET with any anomaly. No matter how much on one planet or on system. With a typical error in the explanation, but yet it definitely applies on all sanctuary systems and on home system too.


Similar examples:

Blue Sky Speculator (Hero` Skill) works  "on systems"

Bountiful Byproducts (assimilation trait) works "on systems"

Need to breed (Law) - works "on systems".

Mines over matter (assimilation trait) - suddenly works as explained - "per strategic deposit on system", no matter if those deposits on one planet or different planets. 


Also as we see the tooltips like "per planet", "per anomaly", "per deposit" work different ways in different perks. Thus no logic even inside the system. .

I see, there is indeed something weird here. Then I suggest moving this to the bug report section. I guess best solution would be reworking those perks specifically for UC affinity, one counselor perk already had that treatment.

Maybe it should be moved in to the most populous part of this forum, but will it make any changes? - Despie the fact that development of ES2 is abandoned, aparently the customer servise is on shortages too - as you see the only people who involved in this conversation are customers and no sight of developer representatives for more than a week..  

Also, this "odd quirk of how the tooltips are generated from the xml data(c)" has been known for over a year:

As far as I'm informed abandoned is a bit harsh. I d call it paused. I think there might be a chance for patching after HK release...

Ok. You are right - It is paused, as developers actually said.

But for me it is like abandoned, because taking in to account the pace of ES2 development, I assume when they finish HK, and all DLCs to it, I will forget about ES2 existence due to the age and replacment by the modern games of newer generation...
