So my fiance is playing Endless Space 2 as the Umbral Choir, and the Unfallen keep getting mad at him for having "outposts" on their borders. But... Umbral Choir don't have outposts, so we're both a bit confused. Now, the Unfallen are kinda stuck between him and the Lumeris. So we're thinking maybe they're complaining because they literally can't expand anymore? Is this an issue that happens? Can we stop the trees from complaining at us without giving up our planets? Or are we just stuck making enemies of them when we wanted to be friends?

I think they're referring to sanctuaries, not outposts
