I am playing vodyani in a game. I destroyed the home system of some other civilization. When I destroyed it with my ship in orbit (without an ark !) I saw in the victory condition that it was counted.

However, after this I moved my warships to some other solar system. I also did not put any ark on the ennemy home system now destroyed. I then realized later in that my game victory condition did not count anymore.

I guess this is because I must control the system to gain this supremacy victory. But at the same time when I just destroyed it initially this victory was counted.

My question is then: how does supremacy victory work with Vodyani.

In addition to that: when you destroy one home system, the icon associated to "home system" moves toward a new system for the ennemy civilization. But do we agree that what matter is to destroy the **original** home system ?

So from my understanding, does your influence expands over the destroyed or conquered regions?

It does not. I just destroyed their capital. When I destroyed and "some" turns after, it I saw that I was approaching military victory. But when I looked again some other turns later not anymore. Thus I want to understand what it means to win military with Vodyani. Should I put an Ark on their home system ? Should I leave some military ships there ?
