Hey again :) I have to disappoint you. Most weapons don't target Fighters or Bombers and those that do so are flak weapons like slugs that still use their primary fire on your normal ships. Both Fighters and Bombers behave like missiles in this area. Fighters also fight Bombers.

If your enemies use bigger hulls you can use Bombers to deal huge dmg to them once they arrive. Carrier hulls make your own Bombers and Fighters stronger. Bombers dmg scales with shipsize of your enemies.

Fighters are nearly useless, they have an incredibly inefficiency when trying to take down other squadrons.

Bombers however, are amazing. Their damage multipliers combined with several bugs (such as damage buffs affecting them up to 4x instead of only once), mean that they can easily shred through carriers and behemoths.
