I know - silly question right - am I still breathing? = yes = doing ok.

I am very new to 4x - I loved what I saw of this last week, decided to be cautious and buy Endless Space 1st (£4). Which I played for about 18 hours last week - I really enjoyed it and got to grips with it pretty quickly although one minute I seemed to be strong - the next my empire was being disassembled by my alliance that grew tired of taking all my resources off me.

So I decided to jump straight to ES2.

On my 1st play through on ES2 (Custom UE - with added Dictatorship) - I am about 130 turns in - everyone is quite powerful - I am 3/8 in the scale with about 750 points.

Is this scale a tally of everything you have done and got?

My main question is what is considered a good play through? and how many turns would a game of 8 empires go through?

Great game! - and a great fanbase too!

I am kind of looking forward to turning this into a survival type play though - how many turns can you survive when the odds are truly stacked against you.
