I'm having the same problem, running on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (Core i5, 8Gb RAM) with the Intel HD Graphics 520 fully updated.  The game loads to a beautiful background, but no menu is displayed after installing and running the game.  I did also install the game on another system (desktop computer) using an nVidia GTX 980.  The game and menu loads perfectly on that desktop.

As a note on the initial install and game load, Endless Space2 (ES2) currently asks the user to accept the end user license before going to the main menu.  Could ES2 be hanging on going to this Accept/Decline message on Intel graphics cards?

The game requires DX11

The GTX285 is NOT DX11 compliant

You cannot run the game as your video card does not meet the minimum system requirements

@Daodi

Maybe because your Nvidia card is really under the minimum requirment (see the Steam Store page, at the end).

(The minimum is an NVidia 550Ti)

Hi !

So, when I lunched Endless Space 2, I got the loading screen (very beautiful btw) etc, than I get to the main menu.

I got the planet on the let, and the title on the right. BUT I don't have the menu.

To illustrate my situation :

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CuG5EPKXgAERvyE.jpg

So I've done a DXDiag, and then:

http://pastebin.com/raw/KsukWSYr

I presumed that my graphic card is the main problem.

Thanks for reading and helping :)

With the new synthaxe "--gui-compatibility=true", the game actually load, but the problem still remain.

No main menu :/

Corrected the command line in your post. Please try it again with the following: "--gui-compatibility=true" :)

For me, I can't doawnload any driver for the card:

The intel drivers don't whant to install because they found that my computer construtor (Asus) have install a spacial driver.

But I found only ONE driver on the Asus web site (and it is no compatible with my computer (buy in august !)).

I've test the trick with "--gui-compatibility true", but, as an another member say earlier, the game don't want to load anymore at the loading screen...

Hi all,

Sorry the compatibility fix does not do the trick (even though your graphics card is not officially supported). We have noticed on some Intel graphics cards that updating the drivers fixes the issue. Are you sure you are up to date?

Thanks
