Is there any word on when ES2 will be able to support Intel HD graphics cards?

I can run all my steam games fine without an AMD/Nvidia. I was surprised to see that this game has yet to support it.

Indeed.  I too would like to know if and when Intel HD will be supported.  And if it is not going to be supported we should be told ASAP.

The store page doesn't list Intel cards as supported

As such Intel cards are not officially supported

This is generally because Intel video drivers are utter garbage, and because laptop manufacturers never update their drivers either causing confusion on "oh but theses drivers from 2008 are the 'most updated ones'.

My garbage Intel HD card is running DX11 and can max out garbage crap games like Endless Space 1. And run even uglier games like Endless Legends and Age of Wonder 3 at Med-High.

And my old-ass driver hasnt been updated since long long ago in 10/1/2016.

An official word on this would be nice. I'm currently stuck with a laptop only!

I'm not bothered about refunding the game since I will eventually get a new main rig sorted. It would be nice to know in the meantime if it would be playable on my lappy.

As I've said in another thread, I'm in no position to be getting a new computer, so I'm on a laptop for the foreseeable future. Any word on if and when intel support is coming would be hugely appreciated.

ES1 page only listed DX9 as the system requirements.

Comparing it tolder games is like claiming "I can run Civ3 in max settings". Its not relevant.

ES2 requires both DX11 and an AMD/Nvidia card. So far Intel cards are not supported.
