I was playing as the Lumeris and got the Chapter 1: Rumor of an Academy quest.  Went to a system, and sent a probe an atmospheric curiosity.  Next turn, went to another system and it was the system that the Academy was in. I immediately got a message that I had failed the quest since not enough atmospheric curiosities had been explored before finding the Academy.  

One other thing, sometimes when I discover a new system/galaxy and the little video comes up showing the planets in them; once in a while the graphic doesn't change (planet view) even though it is showing the information for the different planets.

Thought you all might want to know about this.    By the way, absolutely loving the game so far.
