I used Fantastic and then switched to Beautiful and same thing pretty random freezes... however there was one repetitive pattern. I had(got overwritten -_-) save game at turn 80 that every time I load and click on hero (Fusha Keencrest) notification pop up->assign skills and it would almost instantly freeze in skill tree menu. Which is also strange because I was able to assign skills before. Lowering settings to Fastest bypass that freeze and so far no freezes for at least 1h but then perhaps god of RNG likes me for now...
