Hi,

I completed the event which gives you a choice between Investigating - costs 10 Science per turn for 10 turns and increases Scientist Support - OR Ignore - Nothing Happens.

Once the 10 turns were completed I was awarded the Baryonic Shielding Research for Free but it was in my research queue at the time and as it appears in the screenshot it is stuck like that even though it has now been researched.
