Still Getting the Infinite End Turn Pending Bug After Patch 1.21

Issue: After installing patch 1.21 and starting a new game of Endless Space 2, I have come across the Infinite End Turn bug twice playing as the United Empire. This bug happens much earlier after the new patch then it did before, on turn 5 and 7 respectively in my two games. 


Specs:


OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Resolution: 1920 x 1080

CPU: Intel i5 3470 @ 3.2 ghz 

Motherboard: Asrock z77 Extreme 4

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16gb @1600 

GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB


Version: 1.21 Alpha

Same error here , but strangely it occurs only with UE faction on my side, I've just finished my 100th turn playing Sophons without the issue. 


Are you experiencing that with UE faction only ?

Remember start a new game if you're having issues as older saves will likely cause problems


If you're having an issue with a new save, ensure you make a post and include


1) DXdiag

2) output_log.txt

3) Save game impacted

That is interesting, cyr4x, I have only played as the United Empire since the new patch. I'll try another faction and see if the same problem occurs.

I was playing Vodyani, so I think it's not only UE...

Started new game - got to turn 124 as sophos and can't proceed further - in previous patch it would show some faction as pending but now they are all ready including me but cant progress to next round. I will try to leave the game open to see if it ever finishes.

try to load autosave from last turn (for instance if you are 78, load autosave 77) , worked for me

Yup was playing a bit with loads/saves and managed to proceed to turn 125 after a while - got an error right after it proceeded but forget to screencap it. Now waiting for turn 126 :) 


Edit: Saved the game and it progressed to turn 126.


So yup - it seems if you wait a bit then save the game it allows you to progress to next round - currently passed few rounds after being stuck.

On turn 76 and no problems so far, except all the minor factions in my game are pilgrims for some reason ^^.
