Playing on an i5 8gb RAM Surface Pro 4. After clicking Play in my Steam library and getting through the initial loading screen, I see the Endless Space_2 logo, a planet, and there's music playing but I see nothing else. No menu buttons or anything.
I see now that Intel graphics aren't supported. I like the game, but that's ridiculous. There are games all over steam that have minimum specs which include a dedicated graphics card, but they work on my Surface anyway. Even Civ VI will run just fine.
Technically, if you upgrade your Intel HD graphics' s drivers to the latest version, you might get it to work. It's very much a YMMV at the moment.
Further down the line (read: this week with update 3) we'll be introducing a DX10 compatibility mode that should allow many cards and chipsets that can't currently run the game, to actually be able to do so.
