Loading Screen Freezing Problem

Just as many folks have already posted, I'm also having trouble with the loading screen. The bar fills up then nothing happens. I've posted in the Bug Reports section, but maybe this is the right section. Here's a copy of what I posted before plus some new info.

I played the game for a bit after its early release today (yay!). Now, my computer isn't the best out there so when I forgot to switch off the space battle cinematics, I knew it was going to crash; it did. I load the game up again and try again. True to my being, I forgot to turn off the cinematics again (I was distracted by how smooth the game was running otherwise). I load the game up for a third time and the game freezes on the Endless Space 2 loading screen (after the Sega animation). This has been consistent despite resetting my computer twice.

A small window had told me to send the error logs to the devs. I've located them in my files but I have no idea how to send them and to which e-mail address. Any help on the matter would be most appreciated since this feels like torture. I'm still really thankful for the early release though! :D

Edit: After re-installing the game, I can no longer find the said files. Validating the integrity of the files via Steam didn't help either.

Since then, I've tried re-installing again, verifying the files via Steam multiple times, and deleted the registry.xml in the folder indicated by the devs. I've also located some files that the devs might be interested in, which I'll post below in chronological order.

I'm also having this problem, which started with today's update, 1.0.1 - I was able to load the game yesterday, with 1.0.0

Like OmegaPraetor, I am also using an AMD APU and a very similar driver version - I'm not using a newer (17.x.x) driver version because they've dropped support for my APU. I've also noticed that most threads with this problem are using AMD's 5000 and 6000 family of gpus and apus.
