My Mac has a NVidia Ge Force GT 650M GPU.  This seems to be just below the minimum requirements listed on Steam.  Is there any possibility that I still might be able to successfully run the game on low settings, or will I constantly have problems?

Honestly I cannot tell, and our Mac compatibility coverage was not as wide as on PCs. What is really important is to have the minimum RAM.

You could try the game, and get a refund if it does not work?
