Today we tried to play a game with 8+ people. first 20 turns it worked fine enough (turn could load faster imo) but then about turn 25-30 serious lagg started happening

1.Turn timer is trolling us in so many ways

2.Stuck at the battle screen

3.unresponsive fleets

4.system buildings taking 20 seconds to quee

5.desynch

6.not able to resynch (stuck at loading screen)

7.sometimes not able to even load a save (Stuck at loading screen)



and more,  probably (this is just what i heard/experienced for less than 40 turns)


Our host has 100upload 80 download (more or less) gtx 770 , 8gb ram , i7 2600 3.8ghz. everyone else is in europe/mediterranean


rest of players have sufficent hardware and connection


how can i beautify the galaxy like this?

Hey Ikeaboy,


The lags and desync are different issue. 


The lag should be defnitely better in 1.05 (at least that was our impression). We have accelerate the processing of orders, so the AI takes less time executing its orders, and the user interface is no longer saturated. 


We have found some new desync fixes, but we still have some fixes to double check and commit.
