Hi, I just bought the game on Steam today, downloaded it, lauched it, reached the main menu but display is "blurred" (sorry for my english, I'm french), like I had choose the lowest resolution (which I hadn't).

Then I tried to change the resolution from >1920x1080 (60)< to several other resolutions (lower and higher) without solving the problem. And the game finishes by freezing endlessly, making me rebooting the system.

Seems that the fiwamd2 (Option > Betas) doesn't work.

I've been looking videos of this games the last 3 days, please tell me I will be able to play it fluently soon !!!

My configuration :

MacOS Sierra V. 10.12.5 (16F73)

MaceBook Pro (13 pouces, 2016)

Processeur : 2,9 GHz Inter Core i5

Mémoire : 8Go 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Graphisme : Intel Iris Graphics 550 1536 Mo

My Registry.xml :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Registry xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <Video>
        <VSyncCount>1</VSyncCount>
        <DisplayMode>Fullscreen</DisplayMode>
        <RefreshRate>60</RefreshRate>
        <Resolution>1920x1080 (60)</Resolution>
        <QualityLevel>Good</QualityLevel>
        <TargetFrameRate>100</TargetFrameRate>
    </Video>
</Registry>

Please let me know if you need an information.

Cordialement,

I finally managed to launch the game. I used this thread : https://www.games2gether.com/endless-space-2/forums/73-tech-support/threads/25544-game-freeze-crash-at-start-up-fix-workaround?page=2#post-237752

For those who use Mac and encounter this problem, you can find the Registry.xml file you have to modify by following those steps :

1. Open Finder
2. Right click on the title of the window
3. Click on your user name (mine was "hugo", my firstname)
4. Right click on the empty space

5. Click on "Presentation options"
6. At the bottom, select "Show Library window"
7. Go back and click on Library
8. Click on Application Support
9. Click on Endless Space 2

10. Click on Users
11. Click on 14796056
12. You found the Registry.xml !

Good luck !
