hey

I have just bought this game, and it crashes in the starting up

Framework , vcredist, directx is on a good version or more so

i tried to disable the movies....and it work

for infomation : W7 64bits SP1, I7 3930K, 16go, Nvidia card : 1070GTX 

so i don't understand why i didn't work with the movie..

reinstall directx. it looks like your install is in a bad state as it cant find 11.1 which looks wrong

I downloaded  the full packagging of directx11 ( it's the same present in .....steamApps\common\endless space 2\_common Redist\ )

it 's the same result....and the same solution (-novideo ) it's work...

Can you remove the no video option, and repost the output_log.txt

always the result is :

I hear the voices at the end of the load and it's a crash

with a popup "the program stopped working " "windows tries to find a solution"

This sounds like the ffpmeg issue

this occurs becaue the game is trying to render one of the movies, but you have a dll file that is conflicting with it and crashes the game

Please update any 3rd party codec packs or 3rd party media players to the absolute latest versions. COmmon ones are the K-Lite Codec Pack, and Simple Media Player.

I updated with the full pack of K-Lite codec pack

and it resolved the problem ;)
