As soon as I launch the game on Steam it almost immediately stops working and gives the error shown above in the screenshot.

As possible solutions to the problem, I tried compatibility with various versions of Windows up to Vista and running as administrator, adding a launcher to the white list of antivirus.
I hope you will help with the solution of this problem. I want to play this game, not to demand a refund.

Your logs indicate D3D is crashing the system

Please go into the game install directory and manually reinstall directx. Also ensure you reboot after the installation. Yes you have to reboot. 

The problem is solved by rolling back on the old graphics card drivers. I do not know why, but on new AMD drivers version 17.11 there are errors related to DirectX in this game.
