I bought the hard copy of the game at eb games in australia, when i try to download the game steam asks for a product key (as ususal) but i dont have one, not in the case or anywhere, is this a eb games issue or am i missing something?

Above the place you put the game DVD Rom in shell you should find a small sticker including the steam activation code.
