Can't get past loading screen with new patch. Had same issue trying preview which was voiced in that thread. Endless Space 2 is now unplayable for me.

You make use of BitDefender or Avira ? I could imagine. Try to deactivate and check out if game runs fine. If yes, try to define exception ("white list") for Endless Space 2.

No I use Avast and i completely uninstalled it when trying to get it to work when it was still Preview. That was the last thing the Dev's told me to try before I got no more responses from them. Thanks for trying tho.

I had the same yesterday, just used repair option by Steam and it found one uncorrect file and downloaded it again (it was any big big file, so important). After that it helps.

What are your specs and/or OS ? What is happening exactly, if you try to start game ?

New Chroma Beta update seems to have finally fixed my issue. Haven't played a game yet but I finally can progress to the Main Menu screen!!! :)
