Videos will not play and game freezes when trying to exit

As stated in the title, videos will not play in the game. Either the intoduction video when the game starts up or when starting a new game. This includes no sound as well. In addtion, the game freezes when I try to exit the game. This is a consistent problem and happens every time I try to play. The version I am on is  v1.2.1 s5 Gold public. Please let me know if you require any addtional information.

Wait, does ES2 actually have an introduction video when you start the game? I've never seen one.

Never had a problem with faction intro videos so far though.


EDIT: Oh, I guess you probably just mean the SEGA/Amplitude logo video at the beginning.
