When ever I click an option on the Main Menu this happens and I cannot do anything from there, in addition portions of the text on the main menu are missing.

Help would be appreciated.

Try this:

1) right mouse button click on Endless Space 2 in steam game list
2) properties
3) general
4) set launch options
5) add command:

-compat

6) start game

I can read all the text now but I still am unable to view other menus such as options.

I am having this issue as well. I click options and the options screen appears for a brief second and then disappears. I hit escape and the main menu appears again. Also When I exit the confirmation screen does similarly. I have to click where I briefly saw the confirm button in order to quit the game.

In my launch options I have "-compat -novideo"

I appear to be having the same issue (and made my own post about it here). Has anyone found a solution?
