You are not the only one. I think it was some sort of pre-load and the expansion will launch later.

Just a guess though, it might as well be the Devs like to torment us :D

I have the same problem, and I'm currently reinstalling Endless Space 2 (and Endless Legend btw) to see if it does something.

- Changing download server

- Manipulating system clock

- Clearing download cache

same thing as well and I think it's also happening to inferno as well, everytime i try and activate it makes me go to the store page to purchase it again.

Another thing that might be of note:

Started up the game in one of my 'hopefully it's fixed now' moods, and saw the behemoth in the starting screen.

If I read it correctly I think the behemoth is part of the DLC. If it is a part of the DLC, then the DLC is installed and the game isn't registering that it is installed.

I have also changed download regions and verified game cache

According to the Steam discussion, Devs are aware of the problem and it is some sort of Steam issue. Ofcourse I don't know if the info is reliable, but one grabs every straw one can, eh?

it's not showing the behemoth for me, i've done everything everyone above me did and nothing.

The Devs said on twitter that they were acknowledging the problem and were trying to do something about it, which means the problem probably doesn't come from us doing something wrong

It's when the menu chooses a random race's ships to show on the menu. I want to say it chose the behemoth (and a few ships around it) at that time, and I think I would have to launch it quite a few more times in order to replicate it.

yeah i went to the steam discussions and one of the devs said it could take 8 hours.

I am unable to get it installed either. I tried to verify the game files and restart steam to no avail. Will wait for their fix i guess.

I deleted the thread I mistakenly made on this issue some minutes ago, but the issue seems to have been resolved.

Still not loading for me nor for hubby, Steam still shows as not installed even if it downloaded both ES2 and EL contents.

The waiting goes on... -_- (sob)

Please, verify game cache to fix the issue. Right-Click your game, properties,  local files and then verify button.
