When starting the game it will crash when loading the main menu, usually when it's most or all of the way loaded. A few times I've gotten it to load the main menu but it will crash shortly after that. The error.log file always says "Read from location 00000018 caused an access violation."
I have tried verifying the cache, re-installing, running in compatibility mode, running as an administrator, added to anti-virus white list, restarting my computer, and a few of the other things on the list.
