Game has been working fine since I bought it, many many months ago. Never had any problems and nothing has changed with my setup.

Closed it down last night, and this morning, I can't load my save. Can't load either of the past two autosaves either. Nor can I start a new game.

Rebooted my computer. 

Verified integrity of game files in steam

Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. 

None of these things solved the issue. PLEASE HELP!

Did you make sure the "Endless Space 2" folder inside your "Documents" directory was deleted after uninstalling? A lot of times it does not. That folder is where the game stores all your save files and custom configs, so if the problem is there, you need to delete or rename that folder so the game will create a new one
