This might seem like a small issue but I've found it to be a bit frustrating and very uncharacteristically absent from this game. In the technology screen, I can't use keyboard arrow navigation (which I've mapped to wasd) to pan around, nor can I use my mourse to edge scroll both in the technology screen and in the main galaxy screen. From my experience just about every strategy game has navigation controls like this built in. Is there any kind of control setting or option to enable this? The technology tree is too big to not be able to move the screen, but is clicking and dragging really the only way to move it? Oddly, I've just come back to this game after 2 years and I was sure that at least the keyboard arrows were working in the tech menu.
