Was told to come here for help, I suffering from strange freezing issues where the game freezes but is continuing in background when doing:

1) create custom faction

2) looking in a hero assigned system

3) looking at construction complete tab

4) entering quest tab

5) entering marketplace

Yes I did see your reply, thank you. Last I had checked they were the latest version possible, 9.17.10.4459. Attempting to get better graphics will be impossible as I'm also playing on a laptop so it's integrated. I'm not sure my problem is hardware however as I've seen people report these same problems with better hardware then myself.

If I'm not mistaken your graphics card doesn't support DirectX 11 (DX11) - required to run Endless Space 2 - but let's check out some ideas...

First, for to create and save the DxDiag on your rig -> right mouse click on windows button to the lower left corner on your desktop. Choose the third option starting from the bottom (execute) and enter:   dxdiag     ->  and execute. Save the file and try to upload it this place.

Meanwhile you could try to right mouse click on Endless 2 in Steam (library) -> properties -> set launch options

and enter:

-novideo

in the box. Start game and check out, if it fixes your issues. If not, remove the command same place you put it before.

Another info what could be useful is about your current Windows 10 version.

Sadly Novideo has not helped however I seem to have a crash report now so maybe that will give some insight. I checked to see if I can use the marketplace only for the screen to freeze but could still interact with game so I clicked the research tab and it crashed for the first time. The version of windows 10 looks to be 1909 (OS build 18363.1256). DxDiag.txt  error.log  crash.dmp  output_log.txt
