Ho, hey, fellow citizen. You are obliged to like this mod. This is mandatory.

Unhappy ? So unhappy that now you want to start a riot ? Ok, I'll be your preferred dictator, I'll remove a law. Or two.

Still angry ? You not talk me like that ! I'll raze the system and send your sorry ass scouting in a slow colony ship in Craver space !

Original idea from CipherOmega (link)

CHANGE LIST

--------------

* Democracy, Empire, Federation and Dictatorship get +1 law slots as soon as they unlock Era 3 of Empire Development's quadrant (the one on the left).

* Democracy, Empire, Federation and Dictatorship get +1 law slots as soon as they unlock Era 4 of Empire Development's quadrant (the one on the left).

* Democracy, Empire, Federation and Dictatorship get +1 law slots as soon as they unlock Era 5 of Empire Development's quadrant (the one on the left).

(in the end, Democracies will have 1+5 laws whereas Empires, Federations and Dictatorships will have 1+4 laws)

* For Dictatorships, the unhappiness multiplier for no representation in senate was changed from x3 to :

1 active law - x1 - #1 law is the mandatory law.

2 active laws - x2 - this should help a little with unhappiness, especially with military Cravers.

3 active laws - x3 - the bonus law here is the same malus as the vanilla game.

4 active laws - x4 - the bonus law here gives 33% more malus than the vanilla game. Beware !

5 active laws - x5 - the bonus law here gives 66% more malus than the vanilla game. Beware !

* The unhapiness calculation for all the other regimes is left unchanged.

* If you enact a law or remove it, you will see the change on the unhappiness only after a turn is passed. Typically, remove all laws if you have an happiness problem, this should calm the revolts.

I've got other ideas with other regimes, this may or not come soon.

VERSION OF THE GAME & FILES

---------------------------------

29/01/2016 - V0.2.3 S1 Alpha public - Happy dictator v0.2.3.s1 alpha public.zip

16/02/2016 - V0.2.5 S1 Alpha public - Happy dictator v0.2.5.s1 alpha public.zip

POSSIBLE CONFLICTS

-----------------------

This mod changes the files :

- SimulationDescriptors[ColonizedStarSystem].xml

- SimulationDescriptors[EmpireImprovements].xml

- SimulationDescriptors[Government].xml

- EmpireImprovements.xml

It may conflict with other mod you have if they are in those files. Backup those before !

INSTRUCTIONS

----------------

- go to [Your drive letter]:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Endless Space 2\Public\Simulation

- copy the listed files and backup them

- download the mod

- unzip it in the Public directory, overwrite if asked.

As with all xml mods, changes will appear once you load entirely the game from desktop.

In case of "*woops* I accidentally the original file", just verify the game cache with Steam, it should reverse the file to vanilla. Attention, it will also remove any other mod you had.

Let me know if things are not working, bugged or just super great :)

Have fun !

Updated to 0.2.5.S1.

Changed a few things.

If you want to try it, you should restart a new game or else the bonus laws won't unlock.
